  1. When a serious injury occurs the workers go to what is known as a quick finish. This is where they go home early and get to the outcome of the match so that the medics can attend to the injured wrestler. Usually the referee checks with the injured worker and notifies the opponent of the injury. They go home and the standard procedure is for the referee to throw up the X signal to notify the back that a legitimate injury has occurred.

  2. The referee makes an "X" symbol with his hands indicating that the wrestler is legitimately injured.

  3. Depending on the injury they would either call the match right there:

Melina & Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix & Natalya

    (WWE Draft edition of RAW)

    [Melina suffered a broken heel/ankle]

    or

end the match sooner than originally set:

    Triple H vs Randy Orton

    (WWE One Night Stand)

    [Randy suffered a broken collarbone]

    or

the match may simply go on with the injured wrestler(s) persevering through it to the end:

    John Cena vs Mr. Kennedy

    (WWE RAW)

[John suffered a pectoral tear on his side]

Triple H & Stone Cold vs Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho

    (WWE RAW)

[Triple H suffered his 1st quad injury]

  4. If its so bad that they cant continue, they let the other wrestler softly beat the injured guy up and end it.

if not so bad like with HHH then try to finish the match with less of the moves they planned to use.

  5. finish it if possible,.. end it quick if you must, stall for more time if you need it,. then get the wrestler backstage for immediate medical attention.

  6. they fan it, and shine a spotlight on it ... scipts are all ready prepared in advanced. also an opportunity to fire someone, if they cant perform they are terminated ...

  7. The ref always communicates with the wrestlers almost after every bump they take. If a wrestler is hurt he will tell the ref and either say whether or not to continue the match or not or just call for the finish (which probly will be improvised depending on the condition of the wrestler). The match is usually ended early.

In the case that a wrestler is injured you will see that the ref usually throws up an X sign with their arms which is generally to alert backstage and medical attention that the wrestler is injured.

  8. well some of the injuries ain't real. so they r planned out.

but some injuries r real. and i think the injured superstar will let the ref and their opponent know and they will stop the match,or they might continue, but they will know what they r doing so they won't hurt the injured wrestler. they would probably end the match pretty quick.

  9. To end it as soon as possible most i have seen atleast try to end the match. I haven't seen many where they actually have stopped the match in the middle.
