Have you ever seen your dad, husband or grown man ( 18) to cry cause of physical pain? if so, which was the cause?

- please, describe how old he was when the fact happened (I don't mean permanent injuries, but, for ex., broken arm, leg, ligament...)

- describe if he broke like a crybaby or just tears

- describe detailing the fact (what happened)

- if the person felt humiliated to be seen crying

- if that happened to you too, (just if u are man)

- please, don't forget the age of the injured person

- to be honest, If I saw my father cause of physical pain, that might impress me...........

- moreover, I don't know why but I think that a 40 y.o. man can stand physical pain better than a younger man or older

I don't want to offend real suffering people cause of bad illness or permanent injuries...so, I don't mean that kind of pain.

  2. i don't know my dad but  my grandpa who i See often, bought a horse that threw him into fence and didn't shed a tear! i am15 and had a tooth drilled without pain killers and didn't shed a tear

  3. search weightlifting accident on youtube.. u can see a man cry his *** off there

  4. it really really just depends on the person...

  5. I don't remember ever seeing a "man" cry cause he got hurt.

Pain causes a different reaction in men than it does in boys and girls. I know for me I usually get angry if I get hurt, whether at myself for doing something stupid or someone else if they caused it. But I don't get the urge to cry.  It's not like I am trying to hold it back either, that's just not the reaction that comes to me anymore.

  6. Any man who cries because of physical pain ceases to be a man.

Tears are acceptable but only in circumstances involving volatile liquids.

I'm 45 and have inflicted all sorts of harm to myself over the years, from broken bones to tearing ligaments, car accidents all the usual growing up injuries.

Lots of swearing is the way that most men I know deal with severe pain, except for the special occasions when you do something really bad which usually elicits silence.

  7. That's the problem with the culture we live in and cultures around the world, is that the gender roles have been so established that men can't cry so they don't and think it's wrong.

Why would it be wrong if a man cried from physical pain?
