Antonio Conte, head coach of the Turin giants, has gone on to remark on the injury sustained by their defender, and he has said that they will not buy another defender.
Juventus will be without their regular centre back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giorgio-Chiellini-c14963, who will be facing another spell on the sidelines, following the injury he has sustained. That would be bad news for the Turin giants, as the Italian international is considered by many
as one of the best defenders in the world. However, the head coach of the Bianconeri outfit has gone on to remark that they are content with the squad and the changes that they are able to make without divulging their funds in the transfer market.
This has meant that the team will be looking to bank on the options they have in their squad, and Conte will be looking towards the former Sevilla defender, Martin Caceres; the defender that they signed during the last January transfer market. The player
has proved to be extremely handy for the cause of the Turin giants and he will be looking at this opportunity to challenge the Italian defender, Chiellini, for the position of centre back in the three man defence.
Conte remarked on the injury sustained by their Italian international and stated that it was a pity that he had to stay out of the squad for a while, but mentioned that he is a strong individual who would make a stronger impact upon his return.
However, having said that, he went on to comment that the player’s absence from the squad for a little while does not mean that they would be splurging the cash in the transfer window. He reiterated that their plans for the winter window will remain the
same, and remarked:
“Chiellini’s injury is a shame because he is a leader, but I’m convinced that he’ll return stronger than before. The injury doesn’t change our January market plans though. We have clear ideas because, as well as the Chiellini injury, we’ll lose http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kwadwo-Asamoah-c21502
to the African Cup of Nations and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucio-c22597 who has gone elsewhere.”
Juve will be looking to add a known striker and have been linked with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Llorente-c13671; among others.
