Chris Towers, Ospreys head physiotherapist, has confirmed that the players are on course with their recovery and should join the squad in their pre-season matches. Providing the details on the Ospreys scrumhalf Rhys Webb, Towers confirmed that doctors have
conducted a minor surgery on Webb’s shoulder.
Commenting on the recovery time, Tower said, “As a result of the procedure we expect that Rhys will be kept out of full contact for a period of 12 to 14 weeks.”
The 22-year-old Webb is a regular member of the Ospreys squad during the regular season. He played 21 games for the Ospreys in their 2010/11 season.  Webb is a Wales' international rugby union team players and besides playing for the Welsh senior rugby side,

Tower said, “We don't see this impacting too much on his pre-season preparations in terms of his physical work, and as such, we are hopeful that he will be available for selection at the start of the season.”
Additionally, providing the details on the Ospreys’ prop, Craig Cross, Towers confirmed that surgeons operated on prop’s right knee. Craig Cross earlier in the 2010/11 season injured the right knees cartilage, which kept him out of the last round matches.
The Swansea born tight head prop joined the Ospreys during the 2010/11 season. He so far has made 4 appearances for the club. He made his debut against the Cardiff Blues on January 29.
Providing details on the Craig’s recovery from the injury, Towers said, “Craig will continue his rehab over the summer break, before undergoing what we expect will be a modified pre-season programme and we would expect that he will come good in time for
the start of the season.”
Ospreys fans hope that the recovering player will be fit to join at the start of the new season.
