Inky Express likely to dominate Hall Green BAGS Maiden
Inky Express is expected to walk away with a comfortable victory in the Hall Green BAGS Maiden at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. A cash prize of £175 will be awarded to the Grade OR winner.
The 480 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 12:32 GMT and some very good runners have lined up for action in it. However, no one seems to be in a position to give a tough time to Inky Express, as he is carrying a very good momentum right now.
Although the S. Buckland’s trained hound has participated in just a couple of Grade OR events, his performances in other classes have been pretty decent. He does not have a lot of experience, but that will not matter much in the end, as he has mostly raced
at Hall Green, which means he is fully aware of the conditions at this venue.
The black dog made his debut at the end of the 2011 season and participated in a few Trial events back then. His performances were not bad at all, but he was still not rated as the favourite to win his first ever competitive race, which was a Grade A5 event
at Hall Green.
Inky Express entered that race with a starting price of 6 to 1 back then, but he took everyone by surprise in the end, delivering a solid run. He was dominant right from the start and won by two and a half lengths in the end.
Following his first ever victory, the young hound went into a Grade A3 event and emerged victorious in it as well. He was once again not given the best odds, but that did not matter, as he kept on pulling off surprises.
Since then, the Ballymac Maeve’s son out of Blue Appleby got more confident and made his owners proud on numerous occasions. His first Grade OR experience was not a very good one, as he finished sixth in it. However, he managed to deliver a better show next
time, finishing runner up.
These were the only two times when Inky Express ran in this class. Despite that, he is expected to claim the Hall Green BAGS Maiden comfortably.
