Inky Express prone to win Ladbrokes Puppy
With the high-profile Open Race of The Ladbrokes Puppy going down at Hall Green track on Wednesday night, April 18, Inky Express is quite confident to notch up top spot by beating his five potential competitors including Daddy Knowsbest, Ballymac Thorn,
Ballymac Eske, Vedfield Solid and Swift Reagan.
Containing a prize cheque of £500, the contest over a distance of 480 meters is scheduled to commence at 20:50 (GMT).
After breaking from Trap 2, the S. Buckland-trained black dog will be able to exhibit a strong and offensive run. He is expected to capitalise well on his capabilities and perpetuate his winning momentum.
The two-year-old novice runner has been winning with regular intervals since the very beginning of his career. Making his debut in November 2011, he accomplished a marvellous hat-trick in the month of December.
The dashing dog moved forward to bag a couple of consecutive victories on February 22 and March 2, 2012. He again won two races in a row during the second half of March.
The brilliant hound elegantly grabbed a runner-up rank in his last outing on April 9.
Inky Express’s victory in the Puppy will be a mammoth upset as he does not hold reasonable odds in the betting market. The punters, who are underestimating him at the moment, will be surprised to see the maverick dog marching towards the finish line tonight.
The son of Ballymac Maeve out of Blue Appleby has as high as 90 percent chances to finish first provided he does not make any mistake on the track.
Among Inky Express’ competitors, Ballymac Thorn and Vedfield Solid look to be strong enough.
Ballymac Thorn achieved three consecutive triumphs during March 2012. C. Kyme’s black and white dog moved ahead to finish 4th and 3rd in the two subsequent races.
On the other hand, Vedfield Solid is on a hat-trick. The C. Allsopp-trained black dog won two races by big margins on April 9 and 14. The young hound started his career in December 2011.
In this situation, there is going to be rip-roaring clash at Hall Green. Inky Express needs an extra-ordinary effort to keep his head high. Good luck to all the runners.
