Inky Express tipped to shine in Hall Green BAGS Standard
Inky Express is likely to prevail in the Hall Green BAGS Standard in England on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. He will have to outperform five other runners in order to win a cash prize of £175.
The 480 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 12:18 GMT and the bookies expect the competition to be a close one. There are some decent runners lined up for action at Hall Green, but only one will finish on top at the end of the day.
Looking at the performances of all greyhounds, the best chances of victory appear to be with Inky Express. He is carrying the winning momentum right now and it will be difficult to prevent him from taking the top spot. The bookies have given him a general
starting price of 3 to 1 whereas the punters should definitely go ahead and place bets on him.
Things will not be easy for any hound, as the pressure of a Grade OR event is always quite difficult to handle. Due to this, anything can happen in the end, but the current form of the runners definitely matters a lot.
Inky Express has mostly raced at Hall Green in his career, which means that he will not have any issues with the conditions. He started off his career with a few trial runs and did reasonably well in them. His first competitive run was in a Grade A5 event,
which he won comfortably by two and a half lengths.
The S. Buckland’s trainee was given a starting price of 6 to 1 back then and no one was able to match his speed, as he was quick from the start until the end. He followed that up with another victory, thus gained a lot of confidence at the start of his career.
The black dog took part in a Grade OR event in 2012 for the first time. He was a touch nervous back then and struggled to match his opponents. He finished sixth that time around, but improved his performances in this class afterwards.
Ballymac Maeve’s son out of Blue Appleby was victorious in his previous three races, which shows the kind of form he is carrying right now. He definitely has a great chance of shining at Hall Green yet again.
