Inmate PFN/Booking Numbers ?

How do I go about getting an inmates PFN and booking number? They are in Santa Clara County jail (in California), if that makes a difference

do a search for thecounty sheriff's web site and you can look a person up by the last name and it will give you the booking number.

you can call and ask but the chances are slim. this info is just not given out but on the other hand it is not private.a very very good way to find out is ask the inmate.if you do not  get it then  the you can trick them. when you leave a in mate money or property you get a receipt. on that receipt is supposed to be his number. you can then demand the number to make sure what you left is getting to the right person. another sneaky way is to go to the chaplains office. ask then to obtain it for you.
