Inner city police & military horses, what existence do they have?

Do they have fields? or do they have to live most of their working lives in stables in the inner cities?

most of these horses are grazed in pastures in the outer city and trailered into the city limits when the need arises, Some dept's have stables within the city and patrolman ride in parks and parades,and mostly for crowd control. Military horses aren't used as much as they used to be, mostly are parade and show horses now.
