I know what a cattle grid is in the usual sense i.e an obsticle to prevent cattle from crossing a passage, but being a vegetarian I am concerned about this ambigious ingridient?

  1. It's just a joke ingredient. It's there to make you laugh. There definitely isn't a cattle grid in a smoothie. Some other examples of silly ingredients include a small church, a woolly sock, a trombone, a hen...

  2. Go to their  site , says they are suitable for vegetarians.

The word is a misprint, it's jumbled up and supposed to be "cat leg dirt " :)   Read under  FAQ's at the site , last question, may be a clue there.
