Inorder to increase my vertical should I do pylos and weightlifting?

I finished air alert 3 about a month ago, and am about to start the advanced stage of it. Now, would it increase my vertical more if I did pylos and weightlifing? Specifically exercises that are used to increase vertical? Or should I just stick to one of them? Im a 2 foot jumper and my vertical is like 30 inches ( standing) and like 35 running. Thanks.

  1. Yeah adding some strength training will likely help you a lot. Plyos are meant to maximize the use of your strength in jumping. You can only get so far without increasing the amount of pure strength. There's a good explanation here. http://verticalleaptraining.blogspot.com
