i would, Harang despite a few rough outings is still a money pitcher, and Shields is about to miss his next start.....but I'm kind of biased too, dig Harang but don't have him in my leagues!

I have been a Harang hater over the last few years in fantasy play and he always puts up good numbers and proves me wrong!  Even though he is struggling this year, I think he can still turn it around and finish up strong after the all-star break.  Pitchers may learn some weaknesses while pitching to Votto and he may struggle after the break.

To sum it up---go with Harang because you already like him, and you have great depth at positions where Votto is eligible.

great trade for you. Votto is nothing more than an average fantasy player. He's solid, but nothing close to special. Harang, when he's pitching well is a very solid #2 fantasy starter. He will turn it around after his few bad outings. Harang should give a good boost to your pitching staff which is kind of weak right now. Plus you already have Cabrera, Helton and Jacobs who all have 1st base eligibility.

Votto has his brilliant moments but not enough of it. He just doesn't get enough AB to make a major impact. I had him on my team but I dropped him for Cantu. I think Harang will improve your pitching but not a lot because of his inconsistencies but he has more potential to break out and dominate a game. Make the trade....
