Inquiries about Phlebotomy schools/classes...

Question

My sister would like to go into the phlebotomy field. She is worried about the money needed to start as well as what time classes are held as she is a single mother of two.

I was wondering if anybody had any information about phlebotomy schools or classes in the Alhambra / Los Angeles area. I tried poking around the internet, but I only get sign-up pages.

That might help, also, you could look into a vocational or trade school. I'm in NY and my local community college offers a 1-year certificate program, qualifies me to sit for the boards and I have enough experience to land a job! Just remember, certification through ASCP can run you about $125 to get your certification.
