If 2 horses are coupled for betting purposes ( 1 and 1A)

If one interferes with another horse, and the OTHER part of the coupled bets win, do BOTH horses get taken down??

Let's say the 1 wins, 1A was second, 2 was third, and 3 was fourth.  Let's say the 1A interferes with the 3 and gets disqualified, then the order of finish on the board will read 1-2-3-1A.

You can still win a win bet if and only if your 1 horse, or whatever the coupled entry is, finishes first and second.
