Insect bitee please helpp 10 points best answer?

i got a insect bite yesterday and it got swollen and its hot and its really itchy i dont know what it could be i can barely walk its on my ankle and its really bothering me. anyone know what it could be? any home remidies to get rid of it?

  1. my fav home remedy is nail polish remover. it burns for a sec, but the itch is gone just as fast.


  2. Add a drop or two of water to an aspirin and make a paste. Apply it to the bite and the itching should stop and the swelling will go down.  

    You can also dab some toothpaste or ammonia.

    You say that your bite is swollen and hot, but is it red as well?  This sounds like a bee sting which could only mean that you've had an allergic reaction to the sting.  If you have Benadryl at home, take some.

    I know a lady who uses Pine Sol for insect bites.  There are just so many household products. You can make a paste out of mud and apply to the bite. Or a paste of meat tenderizer with water. Aslo use a cold ice pack to reduce swelling and constrict the blood vessels.  This works good too.  I hope this helps.
