What is good to keep snails and other insects off of a Orange or Grapefruit tree?

  1. Snails are easy maybe. because they crawl and you can put up barriers. Commercial growers use copper barriers to protect against snails sometimes.

    most pest control can be like that. it will generally be a list of things that are small things you can do to take care of one particular bug. like if the problem was bugs with legs crawling up there, u could use a sticky barrier.

    a problem with scales means you want to catch them as they are metamorphing. it might be like 10 days out of the year and those ten days will happen according to what area you are in.

    getting local info can be done from county extension sites; oftentimes at universities. or local growers associations. you would be looking to see if they had texts on local spray schedules and pest control.
