can I get a .mp3 noise that repels insects like mosquitoes and put it on my ipod? So next time I am outside I can just keep repeating the "song" on my ipod.

If so, where can i find such an audio?

  1. No since mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide you exhale, they are not attracted by sound and cannot be repelled by sound.  If you want to get rid of them stop breathing.

Edit: I understood that you wanted to repel them, but they're is no such thing such thing as a sound to repel an insect, they don't really rely on audio as a sense like we do.  They don't come to you because you are talking, and yelling at them (or playing a sound for that matter) will not shoo them away.  What I was saying is that mosquitoes are attracted to the air you exhale and are not effected by sound.  The only way to repel them is to stop the carbon dioxide your are exhaling, although you could potentially use dry ice to attract them away from you.
