Insects....and ........light???

can any one tell me why insects are attracted towards light even when it is sure to kill them???

  1. because everything that we cannot/should not reach is beautiful and we wish to possess the thing that is beautiful to our eyes


  2. they are just attracted to bright light... especially at night, when the surroundings are darker
