Insert latitude and longitude in gps?

what gps will allow insertion of lattitude and longitude for destination

Most of them, but there are exceptions unfortunately.  

My dad recently visited with a Garmin Street Pilot which does not allow viewing or entering Lat and Long. It only takes street address which often turn out wrong or clumsy marking the spot on the map.

The Garmin Nuvi 350 will allow Lat/Long input and is a good choice for a portable vehicle navigation unit at a decent price.

All of the Garmin eTrex models allow Lat/Long entry.
