Inserted wrong cartridge in HP officejet-help?

I have a HP Officejet 4215 and inserted a black cartridge in color slot and color in the Black slot, now unable to remove the cartridges. Please help.

Then take it out and replace it with the correct ink cartridge

Not clear.  Did you mix the black and color cartridges, or try to use generic ink?

If using HP cartridges, remove them and put back in proper order.

If using generic ink, try restoring the printer to factory defaults.

First, remove the ink cartridges.  (I then set mine on a damp paper towel.)

Turn the printer off, remove the cord to the computer and the power source.

Wait at least 5 minutes.

Replace computer cable and power, turn the printer on, put cartridges in, and try to print.

Sometimes this works.
