Inserting an image into a flash web page and it looks horrible?

I'm trying to insert an image into a flash web page.The image looks perfect in photoshop, but when I insert it to flash it's pixelated and looks awful.I've tried changing the size in photoshop then putting in flash and changed the size in flash after I've inserted the image but it doesn't help, it still looks horrible.I haven't used flash that much so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong? Can somebody help me?

    What type of file is the image you want to use:  

    JPG, GIF, PSD, TIFF, BMP, other???

    TIP;  Open Flash and click on the Help Tab, and read all about inserting image files.
