Inside the Budgie nest box

Question

Should there be a perch inside of the budgie nestbox, right next to the entrance hole?

not really no but should be one on the outside

Hi,

No not really you only need one on the outside to allow the birds to easily get in and out. Some nest boxes do have ladders/perches inside the box but these are normally deep boxes for cockatiels etc. But budgies don't need them.
