Insignia 42 inch TV won't turn on

Question

I bought a Insignia 42 inch 4 months ago and now it won't turn on. A red light is on all the time instead of the blue light that is usually on. When I hit the power button or channel buttons the tv tries to turn on and the light turns to green and flashes twice but then just goes back to the solid red light. Nothing happens on the screen during this time. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but it does the same thing. What it wierd is that it tries to turn itself on even if I hit the channel button on the remote or even on the tv. I wanted to try this forum in case it was just a setting before I attempt to return it or have them repair it. Any help is appreciated.
