I recently bought an Insignia 19" LCD TV [NS-LCD19 720p] (with 1440X900 display resolution and NTSC tuner) and am trying to connect it to my Apple MacBook 15". I purchased a DVI to VGA cable, and a mini-DVI to DVI adapter which works fine. When plugged in, my MacBook recognizes the MacBook
monitor and also IDENTIFIES the Insignia TV/monitor, but the Insignia
TV continues to read NO SIGNAL! I tried changing the resolution of the MacBook display to 1440X852 (the closest to 1440x900) and it did not work. I tried shutting all off and starting the MacBook
first, and then starting the Insignia LCD-TV and it still read NO
SIGNAL! What do I need to do to get the Insignia to recognize the computer since it is supposed to act as a monitor for a computer?
