Insignia NS-4V24 -- Screen blank

Question

One day turned on the player and the video screen was blank. Am able to play songs and can hear the audio of videos but the screen is blank. (Screen appears to be powered but no video or menus are visible.)Player is less than 6 months old and has been handled very carefully (no scratches, impacts, and only used in normal room temperature environments)
