Insignia Pilot 80G MP3 player battery life

The spec's for my Insignia Pilot 80G MP3 player has the a battery life of up to 25 hours and I can't even get 8 hours out of it before I have to charge it. Do I have a defective battery? I do have a warranty on the Insignia Pilot. Why doesn't my player last more than 5 or less hours?Frustrated customer,Aja Griggs
