Insignia digital photo frame won't recognize some...

Question

I put two kinds of .jpgs on a sd card and the insignia digital photo frame will not recognize the ones altered then saved to jpg in Photoshop.

I used photoshop to clean up and lighten old pictures and scans then saved the images as .jpg. The photo frame recognizes pictures scanned then saved to .jpg but with no photoshop clean up.

I tried opening them up in Irfanview and saving a copy as .jpg but the frame still doesn't recognize the image.

The frame works fine. I think its the photoshop. Any ideas on how to clean up the bad scans and still be able to use the file on the frame?

The manual says the frame uses "standard" .jpg.
