Insinkerator hot water dispenser water not hot enough?

It's turned up to the max, should be near 210° but the most we get is 190°.

What is the temp of boiling water 212 degrees if you got the water temp close to that temp the unit will vent water into the sink to keep it from blowing up. This equipment is made to give you 190  degree water, not boiling water. the thermostats are not that sensitive to 1-2 degrees. They also have a fuse link inside if the water over heats it will stop the heater. YOU expect too much! On the front of the tank is a 800 number for ISE call them.

We have the same 1 you have . Ours finally gave out but could even set it past 212had to back ours down to 210. As you know they are handy but they are not cheap. l'll call a friend of mine . lf l get an asnwer l'll resubmit it, Good luck
