*~~ Inspiration For An Essay! ~~*?

Hey guys,

I need some inspiration for an essay about "The Environment and Me". I need a really really unique idea, not the usual making-pencil-holders-out-of-tissue-roll... kind of stuff.

Something really special and unique that people usually wouldn't think of...

Hmmm...I am perhaps getting a bit too creative with this, and it might get you a failing grade.

Instead of WRITING the essay, why not turn paper into something good for the enviroment?  Specifically native bees.

Orchard Mason Bees to be exact.

They sell little tubes of paper neatly rolled that the Orchard Mason Bees nest in.

Better yet, just take a raw piece of wood, drill the holes in it, for the bees to nest in.  Now you have provided a habitat for the bees, AND saved the enviroment from having to turn the raw wood into paper, and use all the water, and electricity to do so.

Here's an article on how to make nest houses for them.  Remember, you can drill the holes in a raw piece of wood, like a round of firewood.  It does not have to have been milled in any way, shape or form.

So you save native bees, provide more food for other animals, because the native bees pollinate more, you haven't used a bit of paper, that was logged, milled, pulped, packaged, trasported (multiple times) ect, to write the essay on.

Well some teachers appreaciate the person who things outside the box and is creative....others will just plain give you an F.  I sugest you have a paper about the orchard mason bee to turn in with the log drilled with holes and ready to hang up as a bee house.
