  1. you know whats scary is that your a woman!

    clean your room please!

    if you need help-try www.flylady.com

do you use the hand sanitizer?

  2. When you have friends or family over, you wont be embarassed by your mess anymore!

and hey, itll be done for a while after that!

  3. Just Do It! Really what were you planning on doing every second for the rest of your life? You don't have to do it ALL at once.

  4. You gotta just get motivated,i live in my own house, and when i really get into cleaning,i just don't stop, cause it starts to look so good,so i try and pick something up every time i leave a room, like a glass or a can or a plate, and try and spark my motivation up,then i wont stop, till my house is spotless.

  5. I warned my daughter that if she didn't clean her room that bugs will be attracted and swarm her when she's sleeping.  She didn't listen and within a week she had tiny black bugs all over her room, I don't even know the species of bug.  She started crying hysterically and never let her room get bad again.

  6. I had so much trouble with this when I was younger...

Imagine it clean. How great it would be if you walked into a fresh smelling, spotless haven. Imagine seeing your floor, totally cleared of rubbish and clothes... everything in it's place. You can have friends come over and hang out in there to have some privacy. You could leave your door open, let a nice breeze blow through...

I've become so fond of the open, airy feel of cleanliness that I never let it get that bad anymore.

If you clean it regularly, the most you'll have to do each time is pick up some clothes for laundry and vacuum. Wouldn't that be nice?

Play peppy music while you clean, like "Wouldn't it be Nice?" by the beach boys. It's not a very thought provoking song, (so it's not distracting) but it motivates me to be active and industrious.

    Now... go forth and CLEAN!

  7. Imagine that the girl, or guy of your dreams is coming over and is about to say and do just what you always dreamed they'd say and do.... then they see your room!! Hopefully you aren't dreaming about people who are pigs like yourself......I had a neighbor girl come over once and i couldn't believe she was in "my" house- i was all excited that she was over, i was enjoying her company, then she asked to use the rest-room--my heart sank. Since that day , I see the importance to be neat and clean-it really is  an importantpart of our character.not just to make good impressions, but the confidence of someone seeing where you live without worrying what they may think when they see it-not,"did they see my stained undies?" or notice the c**p-ring in the toilet.

  8. Well it obviously too you longer than three hours to mess it up!  I tell my nephews when this happens to pay themselves.  They are paid $5.00 per  hour not to exceed more than 5 hours and regardless it has to be clean! Like mom cleaned it!  no undies sored under the bed, no junk in the closet that will fall out when the door is opened and no stacking c**p in the cornors.

Its also helpful when you take the time to just look at what you have, make piles of keep, give away, throw away and I don't know I will decide pile before I am completely finished.  Then set the timer for 1 hour and get busy.

You will be suprised to see what you can find!  Maybe even a nest of little mice if you think your room is that dirty!  Nasty!  Good luck,,,don't get lost!

  9. there's stuff from years and years ago that you dont even remember, its like going through a year book and saying, "oh i remember that!!"

    hope i helped

  10. One has to be enthused to do the room, if it will take about three hours.  Perhaps if you thought about the outcome.  Such as finding something you really are missing?  OR, having room to walk?  Maybe you might like to rearrange the things in it to make it feel like a new room, or the old room before it became messy?  Maybe you could even make it look a whole lot better if you cleaned it then enhanced it, to make it your own special haven.  A place to go to be without stumbling or wishing you didnt have to be there.  It will smell better, be healthier for you, and even , not promising totally, but it could make you a happier person, when it is done.  GL

  11. pay yourself by the hour.

    better yet, by the minute.

if it costs you money you'll get it done.

  12. turn on some good music that gets you pumped and energized. just think how good it will feel to sit back and relax in the cleanliness...thats what I do when its house cleanin time....i got a 4 year old and 2 dogs so Im sure I have much more to clean! lol. but that always works for me!

  13. Just think of the dust mites and other creepy crawlers that come out at night, crawling all over your bed and body while you are sleeping. If you have carpet in your room, if you don't vacuum, you have dust mites in your carpet. Even if you don't have carpet, if you let the dust pile up in the corners and crevices in your room, up around the ceiling, around the base of your floor, in your closet, you still have dust mites. If a spiders make their way into your house, they love the dark dusty places to hide. That's enough to make me grab a broom, mop and dust cloth, hope it works for you.

  14. if your room clean inspire will coming to create any thing

have power to flight with any problem.

if not clean  room you will trap like a rat in the cage

I'm a mom  "  Go clean your d**n room before I come in with a garbage bag"

    hee hee

  17. Well put on your favorite music to get you in the mood for cleaning. And I will tell you I broke down and cleaned my room the other day and it made me fell so much better. A clean room makes you less stressed.

  18. well i would tell you that cleaning is fun but really its not..........its just nice to be in a clean room.  Makes me feel happy and not so down when every thing i can do is done.....so clean..........and keep it clean and it will never take you three hours again!!!

  19. The hardest part of anything is getting started. You'll have room to walk. You'll get compliments from your parents. A clean room fosters clear thinking. Make a game of it, pick one shoe and put it in its place, then pick up two pieces of clothing, then 3 books when you've finished each category start over.

  20. Pick 3 of your fave Cd's. 1st hour sort clothes on the floor into washing and what needs to be put away. Always sing out loud have a bit of a jazz too, 2nd hour, 2nd cd, sort out rubbish into binbags! Throw everything you are keeping onto your bed. Have break.Clean surfaces, dressing table, window sil ect, Place your belongings wer you want them to go. Another break. 3rd cd. Poish clean hoover. Have a well earned rest.  Invite friends round to your lovely new room. X

  21. --

Do it, 'cause the dirt monsters are real!!

Really, I've seen them D= they're brown, they hang in groups and crawly!!

  22. Get a friend to help you.Together clean up and throw out junk.  Then reward yourself, go shopping.  You will have more room for new stuff.

  23. imagine it clean, play music and sing along.

  24. Imagine it clean.  Put on some nice music or background TV and go to town.  When you are tired, stop and rest.  Then get back to it after a thirty minute rest.  Take it in chunks - a little bit at a time. It will get done! And, when it's all done, your room will be spacious and you can breathe again. . . AHHH!

  25. Put some music on and sing. Pretend you are acting in musical and just clean. It will motivate you.

  26. First, get some good thumping music going.  Then, set a time and see how much you can get done in only 15 min-just picking up stuff off the floor to start. Make it a race with yourself and only worry about 15 min  at a time.  Treat yourself to a nice cold drink and then go another 15 min.  When you get to where you can dust, and vacuum, take a break to reward yourself.

  27. Hey there,

I have this problem all the time but I always need inspiration to do it. I think what inspires me to do it is probably my mum on my back about it but also I feel proud of myself when its done. ( and I can actually find the floor )

Even if you just do 1 1/2 hours at a time and take a break when needed but make sure you get back to starting it again or it could look like more of a mess when you started.

    Good question though

    Hope I have helped

    Rach

  28. Just think of all the people out there who don't have a room of their own to mess up.  You should be ashamed of yourself! Just kidding.  If you clean your room I will give you a klondike bar, lol.

  29. play music

    it keeps you occupied

WANT to make your room look nice

invite someone round in a day or two

    so you have to

    :D

  30. If you clean yours then I'll clean mine :-) Let's race and see who gets it done first. On your mark, get set.....GO!!!

  31. Go to your room and start cleaning right now. It will never get done if you just don't get up and do something. Now click the little close button in the upper right hand corner and go. You can come back later to choose this as the best answer, but for right now, you must do what has to be done. Believe me, you will feel alot better once you are done. The burdon will be lifted. Now go.
