Install Windows on MacBook partition?

I want to install Microsoft Windows on another partition of my Macbook which is running OSX leopard. I only have an "upgrade" to XP or Vista, would it work for installing it on this partition?

  1. Yes, it should work!!!


  2. You may use osx's BootCamp -functionality to install Windows, but an upgrade version won't do any good unless you have a Windows 98, ME or 2000 installation disc.

  3. I think vista has problems with mac so install xp there are two ways of installing xp in mac

    free:

    bootcamp

    where you must restart the computer every time you want to change os.

    payment required:

    parallel desktops

    you can run windows in a window in mac where you can drag some files from the window to your mac & you can minimize the window. & viruses won't effect the mac at all.
