Any audiophiles care to comment on the difficulty of installing this myself, or should I just pay the $80 to Best Buy. I've been tuning it to random FM signals but the quality is c**p, and I have to re-search for signals often. How difficult is installation? Will I have to splice wires? Perhaps there is an audio input jack on the back of the radio? I know this is vague but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  1. There is a FM direct adaptor you can install. You unplug the antenna cable  from your radio plug it into adaptor, plug the adaptor into your radio. then connect to xm and you done!
