  1. that all depends on which carb you go with on price various brands are more than others all in all it should not be difficult otherwise

  2. You should go with an edelbrock carb...They are around 300.00 bucks...Be sure to get the right cfm for your motor...I got an 850 on my 440 mopar...They are easy to adjust and are very reliable....

  3. you know what type of motor you can call any parts store for price of carb.. takes like 20 minutes to remove if that much.. depends on what kind you want to buy.. call auto zone

  4. if you want a cheap carb buy it off ebay i bought mine for $45 and just buy a rebuild kit it is really easy to rebuild a carb and dont go with an edelbrock if its for a chevy go with a rochester quadrajet they last forever

  5. very quick.  about 30 minutes or so to put it on.  all you need is a 1/2 inch wrench, a s***w driver and some pliers.  The key is tuning it right.  you could probably get by with just slapping one on, but the tuning it can take a while.

Don't use an elderbrock carb unless you think hydro locking your motor is fun!!!  Go with a holley or barry grant.  a 650 carb would be more than enough for a stock motor.
