Install neon lights?

okay let me put my theory i just made up in a few minutes. if i buy neon lights designed for under the car, is this what i need to do to install them.

1st figure out the power(amps) and get a inline fusebox and fuse that matches this. Then wire from that fusebox to a inline switch and then to the battery on the car. will this work. also where is the negative wire.

That should all be included in the kit, along with step-by-step instructions, since the manufacturer knows that atleast half of the people installing them don't know what they are doing. No offence...I personally couldn't do it without some assistance, and have no desire to try.

In any case, keep in mind that in some jurisdictions it is perfectly legal to sell and/or own a neon kit for a car, but you break the law as soon as you install it. So, check with a cop... doubly so because in some jurisdictions, only certain colours and/or specific lights are illegal.
