Install pictures from canon camera ?

Question

i have a Canon PowerShot SX100 lS

and i installed all the software from the cd.

when i plug the camera into the computer, using the usb

it does not show up

i am technology smart,

and i can not figure it out

does anyone know how this goes

or can help me ???

Plug in the USB cable and when it doesnt do anything

click the start button, then my computer, then scroll down too "devices with removable storage" and it sould be somewhere in there.

Another thing you could try, is when you plug it to the USB cable, look on the camera and mash the power button, some cameras require you to do that.

And one more thing you could try, is if your just trying to put pics on your computer get a memory card and after you take some pics plug the memory card into the memory card slot on your computer.

After plug the USB cable, press the camera's PLAY button you may have it.

When you want to desconnect usb cable, be sure everything showed of camera on computer and camera be off position for safety damage.

However use usb card reader easy and safe.

Make sure your camera is turned on and the switch that allows pictures preview in your screen is set properly.
