I bought a new Acer Aspire 5100 laptop on Windows Vista which came with a Lexmark X1290 All-In-One. The Lexmark driver was for Windows XP. Per instructions of Lexmark website I deleted the XP driver. Again, per instructions, I went to website and downloaded correct driver-compatable with Vista. I saved it and now how to apply it? (How to open the new driver file and run it?). I am not too computer savvy and have spent many hours on the problem. Thank you so much for your assist.
