  1. Are you stupid or are you putting effort into trying to sound like a phucking moron???

  2. The new toilets are all low flow - there is less water in the tank so the raging river is now a babbling brook.  Peaceful and meditative, but gives the appearance that you may have to hand carry the goods out.

Here is a web address or you can search "low flow toilets" if you want more info. http://www.toiletology.com/low-flow.shtm...

  3. I don't understand what the problem is.  Toilets make gurgling sounds.  It's what they do.

  4. If the wax ring isn't installed right, you'd know it because there would be a big puddle of water coming out whenever you flushed it.  That is unless you caulked all the way around the base, which you aren't supposed to do for this very reason.   If you did that, get a knife and pull some of it out and make sure you aren't getting flooding due to a bad seal of the wax ring.  You'll find out otherwise when it rots the ceiling in the floor below and starts to smell of raw sewage.

Modern toilets use a lot less water than old ones, and so their cycle sounds different than an old toilet.  If everything is working, the toilet isn't jamming up, it fills correctly, no leaks etc. I'd assume it just sounds different than the one you had and move on.
