Installed programs question?

I have just added a much larger hard drive to the computer I have had for several years in addition to the original drive. The original hard drive is filled with games that i have installed. Is there a way to just move the install over to the new drive? Or, do I have to remove the programs and reinstall on new drive?

  1. No, just ignore what she says she don't know what she's talking about actually...

In fact, for many programs there's no problem as long as they're not dependent to some files from the system of your master hard drive. With games, there is normally no problems. With softwares like 'anti-viruses' for example, you'll have to reinstall it for sure...

Just go to Program Files, and then find out which files contains which games. Then copy them in your new drive and try to run them from it. I can't be sure that it will work for ALL of them, but I'm sure it will work for most of them :)

    Hope this helps.
