  1. Internet Explorer calls them Favorites.  Firefox calls them Bookmarks.  And to add to the confusion, Yahoo! Toolbar calls them Bookmarks.  I'll cover the Y! toolbar first.  Y! Toolbar bookmarks are portable and saved on the Y! servers.  So all you need to access your Y! Toolbar bookmarks is to sign on to Y! with the same ID and use the bookmarks button on the Y! toolbar Firefox version.  You can also look at your Y! bookmarks at bookmarks.yahoo.com.  Next, did you tell Firefox (during the installation) to retrieve (Import) your IE favorites?  If so, then just click the Firefox Bookmarks button (top row).  If not, click the Firefox File button (again, on the top row) and click Import on the drop down list.  Run the Import wizard (with the radio button ticked for Internet Explorer) and that will get your IE favorites saved as Firefox Bookmarks.  Have a good one.   :-)
