  1. you need to uninstall office 2003 (many files remain in your pc) .after uninstall - restart your pc - install new office 2007 . good luck with new software !

  2. It will ask you whether you want to replace old version or keep but I would recommend keeping the old and putting 2007 in another path.

  3. Run the installer for 2007 and it gives you the option to remove 2003.

  4. ,,

  5. best uninstall it manually...restart and install the new one.

  6. I think you should install Office 2007 and see what happens. It will either uninstall it automatically or it will give you the option. If not, uninstall Office 2003 after installing Office 2007 (just in case).

    Hope this helps ;)

  7. I have recently installed Office 2007, upgrading from Office 2003. Do not bother to uninstall 2003, as 2007 will overwrite where necessary, and there is no danger of losing file associations etc.

    Point to note, however:

If you use Outlook Express 6, after installation of Office 2007, you may lose your spellchecker, or find that it has turned French. This is a known problem. There is no solution, except to download a third party spellchecker. See below.

    Best of luck.
