Question:

Installing Pole to my slant Ceiling. How?

I have purchased an dancing pole and I want to install it. Does anyone know of ceiling plans that I can gain assess too for a slant ceiling? It's not flat. Also, I might install it in a barn with no drop ceiling. Only beams that are 2x4's. Does anyone have an idea about doing in there? Oh...and the barn roof is just sheet metal...so it won't hold to that. Thanks for the help.

  1. They sell a metal plate with a hole in it like a donut that is used to attach metal poles to the ceiling and floor. You'll have to cut the pole with a hacksaw to the same angle as your slanted ceiling and then use the attachment plate as you normally would. You won't have to go into the attic. Just use a stud finder to locate your ceiling joists inside the slanted ceiling. If you don't mount the pole to a joist, it will be unsafe.

    Good luck!! : )
