Installing Sony CDX-GT07 into a 1999 Dodge Durango?

Sound only comes out when its on the Radio. Will not come out when CD or MP3 player is hooked up. What am I doing wrong?

check the function of the radio and make sure its on cd  or mp3 ,i think on those you have to choose the mode you want it to play in,other wise it only will play on the radio until the right mode is selected,good luck.
