  1. On the Ubuntu website it offered two downloads for the OS, and I found the first kept on freezing when it was loading, so I tried downloading the second one at it worked fine.

  2. There are two possible reasons and solutions to try to fix NTLDR.

    1st option:

.....Use different CD-ROM or DVD-ROM to install your Linux Ubuntu. I encounter this kind of problem before, my CD-ROM doesn't read well.

    2nd Option:

.....If 1st option didn't work, the problem is on your CD/DVD. The CD/DVD you are trying to install is Corrupted.

  3. ok

1st start pc and go to bios.u can go into bios by hitting F2,F8,DEL etc.(depanding upon u r mother board)

than in boot option select cd rom/DVD rom as 1st boot and HDD as 2nd boot.

than save the settings and exit from bios.

2nd put bootable linux os cd in cd/dvd rom and re boot.

    wait for 1min

3rd u'll see a window poping up and select the install option.

    4th follow the instruaction .

    that's it
