Installing a new Head Unit in my Land Rover Discovery II Do I need a mounting kit?

Ok so I am looking to install a new head unit into my LR Discovery II. So far I am confused as to the whole mounting kit process. I have decided to get the head unit in the link at the bottom but on the crutchfield website it says that I need to either find a new mounting kit or fabricate one. After some research I came across the piece in the second link which I think is the solution to my problem althouth I am not sure.

My question to you is do I need a new mounting kit for this to be able to work in my car and If I do is that piece that I found the right one?
