  1. You should have no problems with this project, all you need is a water source, and a waste route, just make sure that the sink has an over-flow too. You will also need some plumbing skills.......OK

  2. If you do not have good plumbing and other mechanical skills I would not advise you to try to do it yourself.  Aside from mounting the sink, supply lines will have to be run from the nearest source and a drain line will have to be run to a line that will carry the waste water.  Usually the lines are behind walls and not easily accessible.  Certainly it can be done but there are obstacles.  Best of luck.

  3. There are a lot of questions that come to mind before answering your question.

How far away is the rest of your plumbing away? i.e. drain lines, hot and cold water lines.

Will I need to tear up walls and/ or floors to accomplish this task, or would a pump type drain system be okay to run?

How much do I want to spend?

All of this would be the first questions I ask customers or investigate before starting such a project.

If all your plumbing is very close by it is easier, but if it is 5+ feet away, it can be very complicated and costly.

Also don't forget about venting your drain lines, and local plumbing codes.
