Installing acoustic research ar94 speakers

Question

there are 6 sockets on the underside of these speakers, 3 red, 3 black. when I got them i unplugged 4 plugs that went to the amp. where do they all go? there are 2 red and 2 black sockets together, then a red and a black wire clip and then another red and black sockets
