Installing after market stereo..HELP?

Question

OKay i have an 03 Tiburon and i'm installing an aftermarket stereo, amp, and sub. Well I'm attempting..i got everything hooked up, the stereo and sub (the amp is inside the sub woofer) but there isn't sound. There are three wires that have coordinating colors but the colors already have matches, should i try putting them together? I've never done this before so if its simple don't make fun of me lol.

Yes i've turned the volume up

Yes i checked all the connections and they are good..

I don't know what could be wrong..

i really wanted to do this by myself because i have ZERO money!! LoL

If anyone could help me that would be great!!

Can you give more information on the equipment you installed.

And what do you mean when you say the amp is inside the subwoofer?

The only thing i can think is there might be a separate amp for the speakers in the car. (doors,dash,etc)

You may have to bypass the amp and run all new speaker wires or you might can get a adapter for the new radio and factory amp.
