Installing an FCS surfboard roof rack onton my car but not sure what to do? help?

I'm leaving tomorrow for LA and i need to put my boards ontop of the car. I have an fcs surf rack with the belt but i'm not sure how to tie down the boards with it. Anyone with any experience using any surfboard roof racks help is gladly taken.

I use FCS soft racks and really like them.  If you still have the case for them the instructions are screen printed on the side.  I have found it best to put the buckle on the passenger side of the car that way the excess strap does not dangle in my face.

If you are using the soft rack, open your doors, slip the straps through the binding and pull tight, then close your doors.  The board tie-down straps work the same way except that they tighten around the board.  You should have directions on how to adjust the straps on the plastic holder you got with the racks.
