Installing exercise pole in bedroom?

I am trying to install my exercise pole in my bedroom and I cannot find the stud in my ceiling... Please help. m y apartments are 2 years old and my ceiling is a popcorn ceiling

i used a stud finder when i installed mine but i dont have a popcorn ceiling, i think that would still be the easiest way tho

Using a stud finder is probably your best choice.But they can be somewhat un-reliable when trying to read through a textured surface.Try to find a wall stud , then follow it up to your ceiling. It may tie into a cross member you can use.Good luck!

You can purchase a stud finder at Lowes pretty cheap.
