Installing "The Sims 2 pc" from different sources , can I ?

I have some pieces from the sims 2 and here is what exactly I wanna do :

- install the sims 2 main game from torrent (1)

- install "pets" and "seasons" expansion packs from a CD.

- install the rest of expansion packs from torrent (1),(2).

=) so can I install like this? and does the order of installing matter??

You have to install the Sims 2 PC first, otherwise installing incorrectly may cause system damage

The installation of expansion packs order does not matter, so I have heard, and if  you really want to be on the safe side, I would buy them all on Disk. For the cheapest and quickest, go to http://www.game.co.uk.

yes you can install them from different sources...

to make sure you can check its registry from regedit

If it is present then for sure you can have fun!!!!
